Laura Landaker

I have accomplished many things in my life: I have been married for 37 years, traveled both home and abroad; ridden motorcycles long distances in all kinds of weather; pursued my education of a Bachelor’s Degree; built custom homes, but the most challenging and rewarding experience I have ever had was to be a mom.

Brooke Wagner

Brooke W. Wagner was born June 9, 1953, in Hazelton, Pennsylvania. The youngest of seven, I lived with my family in Drums, PA before moving to West Covina, California. After a short stay there, my family relocated to Barstow, California, a small town in the Mojave Desert or as I like to call it, “God’s Country North”. It was there that I met the love of my life, Kathleen Ann Rogers.

I proposed to Kathy in 1975 and we have been together ever since. We have raised two wonderful sons, Jeremy and Luke, who have given us 6 beautiful and healthy grandchildren.

In 1995, Kathy and I moved to Big Bear City, California, a small mountain community in the San Bernardino Mountains, where we currently reside. It was during this time we became friends with Joe and Laura Landaker, and have become very close friends.

After 24 years, I retired as a Sergeant with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. Prior to becoming a Sheriff, I was a civilian mechanic with the United States Marine Corps. My job entailed working on M-60 Tanks, P-7 Landing Vehicles, and other heavy equipment. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree from Southern Illinois University. My goal is to teach Law Enforcement courses at the college level.

I am very involved in our local parish and love to travel on my motorcycle with my wife and friends. Last year I traveled from the West Coast to the East Coast on the Run to the Wall to honor all those who have served this country.

I am a firm believer in the purpose of the Seven Stars Foundation and will work hard to accomplish the goals of the Foundation. It is an honor to be on the Board of Directors for the Foundation.
